In July 2019 we went on an unique soaring adventure with four Stemme aircrafts and four adventurous clients. Starting from Innsbruck we met up in Northern Germany and started our tour there. The goal was to safely reach the North Cape. Soaring as much as possible, using our engines as little as possible. In order to be flexible we opted for light baggage but taking ultra light tents, bivy bags and sleeping bags along with us.

Northern Adventure

Each day we decided on where to go next, which airport to head to. No matter where we were always welcomed with outstanding Scandinavian hospitality. After five days we finally reached the North Cape, reaching our goal. Then we headed back down through Finland, Lithuania and Poland.

We fought the mosquitos, slept under the wings of our planes, Aurel caught us fresh fish, which we grilled and we made sure to always taste the local beers.
